- We assess and treat adults and children with communication disorders primarily in the areas of voice and speech and language.
- If you have any concerns about your communication, or the communication of a family member, get in touch with us and we will see if we can assist. We accept self-referrals, as well as referrals from health professionals.
2. Where are the appointments located and when are you available?
- We offer a remote service via on-line/telehealth as well as a mobile service available in home, school or preschool. Services are available weekdays during business hours.
3. How do I get started?
- Contact us and let us know what your needs are and we will let you know if we can assist you.
- We send out initial start-up information via email or a discussion can occur over the phone.
- The service delivery type and location is determined during the discussion.
- From there, we are able to set up an initial individual appointment. The first appointment will usually take about one hour and will include an assessment of the communication condition.
4. What happens after the initial consultation?
- We provide you with information and recommendations as part of the initial consult service.
- If a speech-language therapy programme is recommended, this will be individually tailored for your needs.
- Web-based services are offered for adults and most older children's conditions.
- Services for young children are provided in a range of settings based on need.
5. What do the programmes involve?
- Communication goals are established and specifically designed activities are provided based on target areas.
- Home programmes/materials are included for practice outside of the therapy setting. This is based on individual circumstances and is an integral part of programme success.
6. What is the cost?
- On initial contact, we provide you with the pricing for the initial assessment of your condition and the estimated cost and time commitment for therapy services and package options, as available.
- The preparation of standard materials and resources is included in the service fees.
7. What other services do you offer?
- We offer consultative services for speech-language therapists and service providers.
- These services include professional and clinical supervision, clinical audit, service development, workshops and locum cover.
